I love writing the newsletter, but I also plan to expand beyond it. Before I do that, I wanted to learn more about you to make sure whatever I make will be useful.

Interview questions: — focus on open-ended questions especially at the start

  2. What's the biggest pain in getting to those goals?
  3. If you could have anything you want to help your career, what would it be?
  4. If you could wave a magic wand and eliminate any problem related to your career / life, what would it be?
  5. Tell me about the last time you looked for X / information about PM. What did you look for? How did you look for it? What did you find?
  6. What do you wish you had access to?
  7. What other newsletters / resources do you keep up with?
  8. How does Product Lessons fit in?
  9. What separates the learning resources you choose to pay for (if any) vs. not? — questions re: payment are sensitive and better asked after you've built some rapport
  10. If I were to build [pitch solution they’ve described as ideal], and I were planning to charge $X for it, would you be interested in signing up for early-bird price of $Y? — give them incentive to commit early and test real willingness to pay
